Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HookMeUp (hookmeup.in and related apps), operated by Covalinx (covalinx.in). By accessing or using the platform you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

HookMeUp connects guests with event organizers for discovery, ticketing, entry, and related tools (websites, door, wallet, POS, analytics). Organizers are independent businesses; Covalinx provides the technology platform.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration details.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate law.

3. Bookings & payments

• Ticket prices, fees, and taxes shown at checkout form the payable amount.
• Payments are processed via our payment gateway partner (Razorpay).
• A confirmed paid booking is your entry credential (subject to organizer rules).
• Platform fees charged by HookMeUp are non-transferable service fees.

4. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for event content, venue compliance, age limits, safety, GST registration status they declare, and fulfilling the event as advertised.HookMeUp is not the organizer unless explicitly stated.

5. Refunds & cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. In short: refund requests are accepted only before the event start time; once the event has completed, refunds are not available. Contact refund@covalinx.in for eligible requests.

6. Prohibited use

• Fraud, chargeback abuse, or unauthorized scraping.
• Reselling tickets in violation of organizer or platform rules.
• Uploading illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

7. Intellectual property

HookMeUp branding, software, and design are owned by Covalinx. Organizer and guest content remains theirs; they grant us a license to host and display it for the service.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The platform is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covalinx is not liable for event cancellations by organizers, venue issues, or indirect damages. Our aggregate liability related to a booking is limited to fees we actually received for that booking.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
